Luau at the Lake
September 6th & 7th, 2024
Watson Lake • Prescott, Arizona
Luau at the Lake is a water-themed event highlighting the beauty of Prescott’s Watson Lake. This family-friendly event will have a rain gutter regatta, wristlet Lei-making, and Ukulele lessons. Dragon Boats will be organized into races every 15 minutes on the lake during the day. Kayaks, Canoes, and paddle boats will fill the lake around the racecourse. The races will continue through the day until all divisions have competed. This event is truly a day on the lake. Japanese Daiko drums and flutes lead into a traditional Polynesian Show for the Paddlers during dragon boat races ending the day. During twilight, tiki torches throughout the park will be lit. Following sunset, Prescott’s only electronic dance party of the year starts and continues into the late evening.
